SCSMA Statewide Community Service Project
This year, we have started a state community project, “Fostering the Fosters”. We are helping non-profit foster parent agencies by donating new and gently used items for those that are taking in foster children on a moments notice. These foster parents usually do not know they are getting a child until they receive a phone call. The foster parent agencies help provide items to the parents for the children that are coming in to the home on short notice. These items include: clothing, shoes, toys, books and anything else you can think of for babies to age 16. Please bring items to any state function or to your local chapter if you have an agency in your area to receive them.
