SCSMA Mission Statement
The mission of the South Carolina Society of Medical Assistants is to enable medical assisting professionals to enhance and demonstrate the knowledge, skills and professionalism required by employers and patients; protect medical assistants’ right to practice; and promote effective, efficient health care delivery through optimal use of multi-skilled Certified Medical Assistants (CMAs).

DELEGATES PACKET NOTICE

Message from the Speaker and Vice Speaker of the House to all Officers, Board Members, Committee Chairs, and Chapter Presidents: The House of Delegates will meet at ​the 2026 conference TBD. Chapter Presidents: Please submit a report of your chapter activities, CEU sessions, etc. and include the outcome of your chapter financial audit. The end of your report must contain your 2026-2027 elected Officers, Board Members and Delegates with complete name, credential, address, phone number and email address. Reports must be prepared in the format below and emailed to dmpurdue0806@gmail.com no later than January 11th, 2026. All officers and Committee Chairpersons, please submit your 2026 report to the same email by no later than the same date, no matter what activities or lack thereof. ​
