South Carolina Society of Medical Assistants 2024 Academic Scholarship
This scholarship was established to assist Medical Assisting Students needing financial support to acquire the skills needed to take the AAMA certification exam.
The Scholarship will be awarded on March 16, 2024 at the South Carolina Society of Medical Assistants Conference to be held in Anderson, SC during the Bowl of Knowledge.
Deadline to Apply: January 14, 2024

We are the state level affiliate of the American Association of Medical Assistants (AAMA), the National organization that oversees the profession of Medical Assisting. We serve as an information source and networking group dedicated to the occupation of Medical Assisting.
SCSMA Statewide Community Service Project: SCSMA Paws for a Cause
President Taylor has selected SCSMA Paws for a Cause to be our community service project for the 2024-2025 year.
This will continue the effort made at the 2024 conference to raise donations for the Anderson County Paws and expand to other shelters in the state.
President Taylor is requesting SCSMA members collect donations for the shelter in their community or bring donations to either of our workshops during the year.
If donations are taken directly to your local shelter, please take a photo documenting the donation. Submit the photo to President Taylor.
