TRI-CITY CHAPTER NEWS
Please come and join our group of Medical Assistants. We are a group of Certified Medical Assistants (CMA), Medical Assistants, Nurses, Receptionists, Officer Managers, Administrative Personnel, Coders and a host of other titles in the medical field, that meet monthly to help us learn more about the ever-changing medical world.
Our President, Debbie Spires, CMA (AAMA), CPC, is a very efficient and knowledgeable leader. She is a founding member since the chapter was organized in June of 1980 as the 13th chapter in the state.
Our Vice-President, Sue Ann Lee, CMA (AAMA), is very gracious and kind, always willing to assist the President. Sue Ann is currently working toward her degree in clinical nursing.
Treasurer Debbie Ripple, CMA (AAMA), is also a founding member since the chapter was organized. She is very efficient and maintains a spotless bookkeeping system.
Secretary Wendy Mears, MA, records our chapter’s history but wears many hats in the chapter. Wendy’s favorite is fund raising and the treasurer will agree with every trip to the bank.
The Tri-City Chapter meets monthly, alternating between Myrtle Beach and Conway. The meetings begin at 6:00 pm and are always opened with prayer or a moment of silence. The chapter has been blessed with well informed speakers for our great educational sessions where we earn CEU’s.
