Thanks to everyone who attended our August meeting, when we were joined by Faith, from Piedmont Reproductive Endocrinology Group, where she spoke to us on infertility. A huge thanks goes to Kristi Fowler, CMA(AAMA) for putting our Education together!

Please go ahead and mark Tuesday, September 16th on your calenders when Spartanburg Community College's Medical Assistant director, Kristen Adams, CMA(AAMA) will be speaking on an Administrative topic. Please make sure to attend!

The Spartanburg Chapter is in the works on a special event for Medical Assistants week in October. Please stay tuned for more details for activities planned for Tuesday, October 21.

The Fall Workshop/Board meeting was held the weekend of August 23-24 in Columbia. The workshop covered topics such as RSV, Immunization updates, and new medications on the market. Some ladies took part in the CPR recertification course that was offered. I encourage everyone to attend the Fall/Winter workshops to pick up some CEU's and network with CMA's from across the state!
