PICKENS CHAPTER NEWS
The Pickens Chapter is meeting on a monthly basis with great educational sessions for CEU’s. The Pickens Chapter meetings are held the second Tuesday of each month at 6:30 at Palmetto Baptist Easley Hospital in the first floor conference room.
We are very excited to be the host of our annual conference for 2009 and hope you will join us at the Airport Marriott in Greenville, SC on March 19 – 22, 2008. Our conference theme is “Medical Assistants Round-up”. We are happy that our state Vice-President and Speaker of the House, Crissy Taylor, CMA (AAMA), could join us for our first conference planning session. We decided to meet monthly on a date that is separate from our educational and regular business meeting. Our conference chair is Marisol Boatwright, CMA (AAMA) and she will be sending out Exhibitor and Ad forms to members so that we can begin to “round-up” some funds for the conference. We are few in number and need any help that the other local chapters in SC can provide.
