The Greenwood Chapter of Medical Assistants

The Greenwood Chapter is alive and well! We are continuing to grow thanks to word of mouth from our members and area offices. 

In April, the Greenwood Chapter along with PTC Medical Assistant Students participated in “The Medicine Chase”, a fundraiser for Greater Greenwood United Ministries Free Clinic.  Through our combined efforts, we were able to raise $500 to assist the clinic as they reach out to those in need in our community.

The Greenwood Chapter will be meeting the 4^th Tuesday of the month for the summer months instead of our regular 3^rd Tuesday.  The meetings begin at 6:00 p.m. and are held in the Health Science Conference Room at Piedmont Technical College.  We have been able to secure speakers for the majority of our meetings to ensure CEU’s for our members.  We invite anyone in the Greenwood area to come and join us for our meetings!
