November 18th Meeting – Coding Education
Election of Officers
The October meeting of the Columbia Chapter will take place at Moore Orthopedic Clinic at 14 Richland Medical Park. Margie Banta, CMA(AAMA), CPC will be presenting the second in her coding update series for 2009. CEUs will be available for attendees.
After the education, we will have the annual election of chapter officers, board members and delegates for state business meetings.
We will also be planning the education for 2009, and will set up the schedule for meetings at that time. If you have any requests for education sessions you might be interested in, this is the time to let your voice be heard! Please join us and meet your fellow chapter members!
The meeting will begin at 6:30pm. Be sure to join us and be a part of your local AAMA chapter.
Beginning this month, there will be a door prize awarded to one lucky attendee!
The AAMA Annual Conference will be held in Chicago this year in October. Ammeenah Luqmaan, CMA (AAMA), our State President, will be attending as a delegate to the annual business meeting.
The SC State Annual Conference will be held March 19-22, 2009 in Greenville. The Pickens Chapter will host this meeting. There are plans for many educational sessions, including a radiology seminar to be held on Thursday, March 19th in conjunction with the conference.
