Hello Charleston Chapter Members, What a spooky and cold month we have for October. I am excited about November. It is our ELECTION MONTH. Please try to come and take an active roll in our elections for the Board of the Charleston Chapter. We will also be voting for Medical Assistant of the Year. WE NEED YOU ALL!!! The meeting will be November 13, 2008 at Roper St Francis Hospital. It will be fun, so come and see what is done at your Chapter meetings. I went and spoke to the students in Miller Motte’s Technical College Medical Assisting Program recently. They were very welcoming and excited to see Vice President, Peggy Christopherson and me. We spoke for a few minutes and then answered questions about the importance of being a member of the Chapter. We need to remind ALL Medical Assisting Students that with a simple essay, they can win a $500 Scholarship from our Chapter. SO TAKE THE |
CHALLENGE*** and I hope to see you in November. Tammy Williams, CMA(AAMA)
